Tulcharam ji maharaj
Brahmarshi Shri Tulcharam Ji Maharaj (born on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturdashi, Vikram Samvat 2009 [1952 CE] in Indrana village, near Brahmadham, Rajasthan) is a spiritual leader and the current Peethadhish (head) of the Shri Brahma-Savitri Siddh Peeth in Asotra, Rajasthan. He is recognized as the successor of Shri Khetaram Ji Maharaj.
Tulcharam was born to Shri Pratap Singh Rajpurohit and Lahron Devi as their fifth child. From childhood, he showed diligence in household duties and service to others. His parents were devout and frequently hosted saints and ascetics, which influenced his spiritual inclinations.
After minimal formal education, he engaged in agriculture and cow service. His respectful demeanor made him well-regarded among family and community members.
Under the guidance of Shri Khetaram Ji Maharaj, Tulcharam embraced asceticism. He served his parents devotedly before taking up solitary meditation on a hillock near his village. Later, on his guru's advice, he moved to Pipaliya — a site associated with Khetaram Ji's early penance—for two years.
In Vaishakh Shukla Panchami, his guru initiated him into deeper spiritual practices, bestowed blessings, and entrusted him with leadership. Shortly after, Khetaram Ji attained Brahmalin (left his mortal body) on Vaishakh Shukla Shashti.
Following his guru's passing, the Rajpurohit community formally installed Tulcharam Ji as the successor. Under his stewardship:
The Shri Brahmaji Temple and Rajpurohit Samaj Vikas Nyas was established (with 51 representatives).
Vaikunthdham (Khetaram Ji's memorial) and an ideal cowshed for 1,000 cows were constructed.
Facilities like a dining hall, dharamshala, yajnashala, and Gurukul were developed.
He organized 12 five-day Gayatri Mahayajnas and initiated a pyau (water service) at Junjhani Nadi.
Before assuming leadership, Tulcharam Ji observed 12 years of maun vrat (vow of silence). His teachings emphasize community harmony and selfless service.
