Shri Jiwaraj Ji constructed the temple of Goddess Kalka. Subsequently, he established the new Bhawanda by building the grand Bhawanda Fort with massive battlements (having "Dhai Haath ke Kangre" – battlements measuring two and a half hands), and the Bhawanda Bazaar, which later became renowned as the town of trade and grain market (Chopra and Dhan Mandi). The Chhadi Ropan was originally carried out by Parsariya Jat. While the village of Khariya became deserted, the old Bhawanda was still inhabited.
Jiwaraj Ji’s brother, Sher Singh Ji, who was inclined towards saintly practices and devotion, constructed the Ganwai Nadi (also known as Ghadayi Nadi). On the banks of this stream still stands a Chatari with four pillars, attributed to him. Though there is no inscription present on it, or it may have been lost, villagers claim that near Sher Singh Ji’s Chatari, there once stood a larger Chatari with eight pillars possibly belonging to a Guru or Disciple wich has recently collapsed. These Chataris are famously known as Guru - Chela.
