Three brothers had come to Khichan after getting married in Bikaner. As soon as they arrived in the village, a land dispute arose, and all the villagers became involved in the conflict. Due to this, the three brides were not given a house entry (grah pravesh) ceremony for two days. As a result, all three of them committed sati outside the village.
