The revered sites of worship of Sadhvi Mata Laxmi Bharti Ji are located at:
Shivtalav
Magra Mahadev Ji
Sinderli
Biliya
Mata Laxmi Bharti Ji’s original name was Laxmi Bai. She was born in the village of Sinderli.
She was married to Jethu Singh Ji Surawat of Shivtalav.
Mata once shared that during her wedding, she opened her Mor (the ceremonial head ornament tied on bride and groom at the time of marriage) at the house of your great-grandfather Shri Vijay Singh Ji, son of Shri Moti Singh Ji.
She had one daughter, Shrimati Poni Bai.
After the earthly departure of her husband Jethu Singh Ji, Mata chose the path of devotion and spirituality.
It is said that she initially wished to perform sati, but later, due to certain reasons, she renounced that decision and dedicated her life to attaining the supreme truth.
Mata Laxmi Bharti Ji received spiritual initiation from Sant Shri Phoola Bharti Ji (Haka Maharaj), who became her spiritual guide and guru.
Mata devoted herself to years of meditation and penance at the following places:
Laxmi Bharti Ashram, Shivtalav
Laxmi Bharti Tapasya Kutiya, Magra Mahadev Ji
Laxmi Bharti Ashram, Sinderli
She performed intense penance at Magra Mahadev Ji, and later continued her spiritual journey at her village ashrams.
Mata renounced her mortal body at her parental home in Sinderli, but her Samadhi (memorial shrine) is established at Shivtalav.
Today, along with the worship of Mata Laxmi Bharti Ji, devotees also revere:
Sant Shri Khetaram Ji Maharaj
Shiksha Sarathi Atmanand Saraswati Ji
Other saints as guiding lights.
