Panpasav Ji/Kamal Ji
Panpasavji was the son of Devpal Devji Rajpurohit. He was the grandson of Jasodharji Rajpurohit, the then ruler of Pali, through his mother, who was the daughter of Jasodharji and married to Devpal Devji. This familial alliance connected Panpasavji to prominent Rajpurohit lineages of the time.
In Vikram Samvat 1348 (1291 CE), Panpasavji participated in the defense of Pali against Islamic invaders. He fought valiantly alongside his maternal uncles and the Rathore leader Rao Asthanji. The battle resulted in their martyrdom, and Panpasavji is especially remembered for his role in this resistance.
The site of his martyrdom later came to be known as Dhola Chowtra, a place of local historical and cultural significance in Pali, Rajasthan.
Panpasavji Rajpurohit is honored within Rajpurohit historical narratives and oral traditions for his valor and sacrifice. His legacy is preserved through various genealogical records and local histories.
