• Selected by Ratlam State to study at Indore Medical School due to academic excellence

• Participated in Mahatma Gandhi’s Non-Cooperation Movement
• Fearlessly hoisted the Indian National Congress flag at school
• Faced threats like cancellation of scholarships and harassment
• Forced the British administration to make compromises

• Passed L.M.P. (Licentiate in Medicine and Surgery)
• Established a medical institute and served the public
• Became a well-known doctor dedicated to public welfare

• 1938: Elected President of Praja Mandal in Ratlam
• Led Kisan Andolan (Farmers’ Movement)
• Protested against Begaar Pratha (Forced Unpaid Labor)
• Carried out various anti-government activities

• 1940: Charged with treason by Ratlam State
• Sentenced to 7 years of rigorous imprisonment on 13 March 1940
• Gandhiji intervened; M.M. Munshi fought his case
• Released on 13 January 1942

• 1947: Became Minister of Health, Education, and Labor in Ratlam’s popular government
• Enabled Harijan temple entry, a significant social reform
• Worked towards Hindu-Muslim unity
